International Women's Day 2010

Today is International Women's Day, a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future.  The first IWD was in 1911 and since that time we've come a long way, Baby.

However, now is not the time to become complacent as women still struggle on many fronts across the globe.  One of the issues that still needs our immediate attention is the fight against hunger.  As we celebrate International Women's Day 2010 let's honor those on the front lines against hunger and pledge to help women break the cycle of poverty.
